If you open up the Austin American Statesman on Friday, February 29th, Wednesday March 5th and Thursday March 6th, and you might see what I find to be a very tantalizing advertisement. I've reproduced the ad here on this blog post to save you a bit of effort. Is it not Baghead, the new Duplass movie? THe sxsw website has a similar picture.
Um, feel free to delete that comment, I realize it would spoil the suprise.
No it's the unknown comic from the Gong Show of the '70's or 80's....
hey, I don't know if this is part of the surprise but I just wanted to make sure:
1)The mystery event is being held on all three days.
2)You buy tickets between 5 and 8 and then the show is later that night.
Those are the times to pick up a ticket. When you go to 404 E 6th, you'll find out when the event is.
Will they run out of tickets on the first day? Or will the tickets be divided among each day's giveaway? I mean, if I can't make it today or tomorrow, but can be there Friday, will I be too late?
I just picked up a yellow ticket from a woman with a bag on her head. I hope she wasn't a crazy homeless woman who sleeps in a puffy chair in an alley.
